Ready for the Spring Statement?

11 March 2019

The Chancellor Philip Hammond makes his Spring Statement on Wednesday, the day after MPs are set to vote on the Prime Minister’s latest Brexit deal.

According to the FT, we should be looking out for 5 key themes in the Statement, including the economy, spending review, public finance, consultations on reform, and of course, Brexit – and whilst the latter might overshadow the rest, it will nevertheless be a significant event, partly because it will contain new forecasts for economic growth. Head over to our online poll to have your say on what topics you think will be most meaningful.

As always, we’ll be covering all the main points of the Statement via our Twitter account so do follow us for all the latest on the day – and feel free to join the debate with us, and have your say!
